Why is there no VAT on the invoice? Can my company reclaim VAT?
usedpartsabc.com operates under the “Special Scheme for Taxation of Second-Hand Goods.”
- Under this scheme, VAT is not added to invoices for resold goods (KMS § 41 lg 4).
- Buyers cannot deduct input VAT from these purchases.
- Invoices issued under this scheme reference KMS § 41 or Article 313 of the VAT Directive, as required by KMS § 37 lg 8 point 7.
- This scheme applies only to business-to-business sales of used goods; private customers buying for personal use do not require these references.
In short: No VAT is added to the invoice, and VAT cannot be reclaimed. This is a margin VAT scheme for used spare parts, meaning VAT is paid only on the profit made during a specific period.
Manual Payment Instructions
If you choose “manual payment” or “invoice PDF” when placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation email that includes the invoice and payment details.
It is crucial that all details from the invoice are entered correctly, especially the bank account number. Mistakes in these details may prevent your payment from reaching us. If the payment is not received, your order will remain marked as “not paid”, and our team will not process it, delaying or preventing delivery of your products.
